Everything starts with the blank, the first stage of watch dial manufacturing. The metal bases are prepared with precision to ensure perfect dimensional conformity and to create the foundations of an exceptional dial.
Stamping, known as “frappe” in our field, shapes the material and creates reliefs and details of great finesse. Thanks to precise control of tooling and processes, this technique ensures the consistency and quality of the components, meeting the requirements of fine watchmaking.
Thanks to high-precision machining processes, each component is worked according to the technical requirements of the project. This essential stage ensures the quality, repeatability and reliability expected by Swiss watch brands.
Index and applique manufacturing calls on a wide range of skills and technologies, including machining, stamping, laser and faceting. This mastery of multiple processes allows us to produce parts with varied geometries, combining precision, finesse and quality of finish.
The surfaces are carefully smoothed and polished to remove any imperfection. This meticulous work enhances the reliefs, improves light reflection and prepares the dial for the watch decoration operations.
Watch electroplating gives the dial its final shade and aesthetic character. Carried out with great skill, the galvanic treatments ensure even, durable finishes that meet the standards of Swiss fine watchmaking.
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) treatment deposits thin layers of material on watch dials under vacuum. This technology offers a wide variety of colours and finishes, while ensuring excellent uniformity and high precision in the results.
A suitable protection is applied to preserve the dial’s appearance over time. Varnishing and final washing ensure a perfectly clean, resistant surface, ready for the following decorative operations.
Printed indexes, logos, markings and technical indications are applied with extreme precision. This stage contributes directly to the visual identity of the dial and to the recognition of the watch brand.
Applique setting consists of fixing the decorative elements that bring depth and sophistication to the dial. Performed by hand or with specialised equipment, this operation demands absolute precision and rigorous control.
The application of Super-LumiNova improves time reading in low-light conditions. Each deposit is applied evenly to ensure performance, durability and aesthetic quality.
